CFC Support Management

Support management is voluntary training on how to select, manage, and dismiss attendants.

• Support management will be available to all individuals who use CFC personal assistance services and habilitation service.
• Individuals may request Support Management during the person-centered planning process.

• If you use services delivered by a provider agency, Support Management will help you work with your provider agency to select a service provider/attendant who is right for you — someone who will help you to reach the goals in your service plan.
• If you use the Consumer Directed Services option and you are the employer, Support Management gives you some extra tools for managing your service providers/attendants.

Providers and FMSAs will provide the CFC Support Management Handout (PDF) | Spanish (PDF), along with a verbal explanation, to individuals whose service plan includes Support Management.
