MAO Medicaid: Medical Assistance Only – Medical assistance offered (Medicaid) vs Medical and financial assistance (SSI & Medicaid together)

SSI: Supplemental Security Income

ICF-MR: Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded – a program may use the same criteria as used to admit someone to an Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded

MRA: Mental Retardation Authority – agency that manages services for the Mentally Retarded in each county

DADS: Department of Aging and Disability Services – state agency that manages services for individuals with disabilities throughout the state. MRAs are under DADS.
